IDORO The IDORO system serves for the purposes of access control and criminal intrusion in case of natural environment by facial images. It is based on the original real-time algorithms and approaches for artificial vision system implementation on the platform of pattern recognition and object detection. The pattern recognition technology is developed with use of the dynamical neural networks models made by the company during the R&D process. The system performs face recognition and identification on the ordinary computing hardware or selected DSP boards with the low-cost optics. The invariance to rotation, color and adornment allows the system to be absolutely effective and valuable when applied in complex environment. The IDORO system has following technical characteristics: identification speed – 0.005s per database image; image resolution - 320x240 pixels and higher; actual palette - 256 grayscale; image shape - frontal picture; database amount - 5-1000; OS - MS Windows NT4.0/2000/XP; network - TCP/IP-based; input image source – digital camera, surveillance and web-camera, scanner; high invariance to adornment, age changes and lighting. The technology of IDORO system has outstanding capabilities of invariance to human visual appearance changes and robustness to environmental conditions. It involves most advanced approach such as neural networks and self-organizing structures to the artificial vision design, which allow implementing smart and flexible system for use by private end-user and corporate customers.
