A New Version of CRIMNET - CRIMNET Mobile (The new CRIMNET(r) version supports the remote identification via a PDA and any cellular network, i.e. a policeman makes a photograph of a suspect in some remote area and sends it via PDA to the database for identification. The company participated in III Russian Venture Fair held in St.Petersburg, October 17-18, 2002 with its project "Real time face recognition systems". The company was nominated as the Best Start-Up. We also received a travel grant from U.S. Civilian Research and Development Foundation(CRDF).
